Mangle and their highly dysfunctional family move halfway across the country after their mom's passing. While grappling with the grief, Mangle has to begin anew in an entirely new school in the middle of their sophomore year. Originally planning to just coast along, graduate and get out of this town, everything gets thrown out of balance when they meet new friends and someone that they, maybe, just maybe, develop a crush on.
