However, disaster strikes when a new leader rises to power in the Capitol and forces the nation to restart the games. This causes fear and chaos to spread throughout the country, and Ember is chosen as District 12's tribute. Will she follow in Katniss's footsteps?

This is her last chance to build a life for herself before she becomes homeless on the streets. What will life be like for the twisted and complicated young woman? And what will happen when she sees the controversial inhabitants of that town? Namely, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.
