Clara Sybil, a normal 19-year-old girl, working in cafe and busking to earn money, her life isn't exactly looking up. Her mum died from cancer just over two years ago, and her father is AWOL, working for his business. So she looks after herself. But somehow, she gets Liam's number, yes Liam Payne from one direction, and they start to go out together, a friendship bonding the two. But something happens to Clara, something terrible. Her best friend is in Paris, and all she has is one direction. This is her story of not surrendering, this is her story of living through pain and not giving in, she hasn't put up the white flag. This is her story, this is 'White Flag'.

One Direction, One Direction, One Direction. This is all people talk about these days. Lisa is sick of it. Don't get her wrong, she doesn't hate them or anything. She's actually closer to them than you think. Lisa has had a rough couple of years. Her bestfriend Courtney Bright is the only thing keeping her grounded. She has tried to forget about her vicious past. But running away from your problems doesn't help. They will catch up on you one day. When you are least expecting it. Lisa's mum has planned for her to spend 2 months with her brother in London. Lisa sees this as an opportunity to help forget about her problems. But will it really help? Will it not just send her spiraling back to the past memories? Will things actually get better in her life for once? Or will seeing her brother just make it worse?
