The Fisher family finds themselves thrust into a realm of disorder and devastation when a virus seizes control over their loved ones. Elizabeth has proven herself to be the fastest in cross country and the most skilled home-run hitter in softball. With a high IQ and nearly perfect grades, she excels in all of her classes.
However, the once happy town of Springdale has been engulfed in a world of death, destruction, hatred, and violence. Elizabeth finds herself thrust into this grim reality, as the town she once knew comes to an abrupt end. Now, she faces the daunting task of assuming leadership roles to ensure the survival of her siblings.
