Separated for a Year

It's September 1998, Yomiyama North Middle School. The school year has just begun, but when the students of class 3-3 took their seats in the classroom for the first time, the homeroom teacher immediately began dissecting a serious topic to his students.

26 years ago, a successful student who was a member of the same class and grade died, but after that there were violent deaths of the members of the class and of their relatives in every month and this "curse" has continued continuously up to now, also to avoid the worst, the children from class 3-3 can't tell anyone about this school's horrible past.

Some students have completely panicked and are going to school or staying in Yomiyama City with fear of death, some are trying to keep their cold blood and figuring out how to keep their classmates, relatives -and themselves, of course- in safety from death. The half -And the lowest percentage- of the students aren't believing this and just thinking of this all as a silly Urban legend to make school more.. "interesting" for the students, so they keep studying and living their day like all other, not stressing about this schoolyear.

Just like in all other schools and classes, there are students who are not typically liked by their classmates. Ikuo Takabayashi is one of these students, a small and slender guy with a heart disease what prevents him from running. He doesn't have much friends, that's why he gets interested quickly in a mysterious, dark girl named Mei Misaki. Their friendship goes well, until the head of Countermeasures, Izumi Akazawa chooses Mei to be ignored, so they forbid everyone to talk or not ignore Mei in any situations. Ikuo hates the countermeasures all the way it is, so he keeps talking to Mei until things are getting more hard for both of them and the class..
