Deserts as far as the eye can see. Civilization verging on extinction. The chances of survival becoming less and less possible by the day, and that's after they survived the almost lethal trip to Kepler. 
Jemma Radcliffe was 16 when she and her protector Jackson were sent on behalf of the human race to Kepler. The mission was simple until something went terribly wrong resulting in the destruction of almost everything aboard their spacecraft that was meant to keep them alive. 

They survived the journey, but can they survive what awaits them on this foreign planet?

Luna Vis woke up one morning, or rather one night, to the dim light of the moon. It was a day that started like any other, but turned out unlike any other, setting off the chain reaction that set her life ablaze for a second time. For six years she had lived a new normal after her life was uprooted, but now everything was on the cusp of changing again. Almost exactly six years prior, the world as it was had changed entirely for half of the world. And over a century prior to that, the world had burned. The world burned in silver and in gold, and out of the ashes rose a phoenix: a new dawn for civilization. New cities, new ideas. New weapons. New... insurance policies. Now Luna and her friends are learning first hand what being on the front lines of a war is like. Now they are finally learning what it was the government had kept so secret for six years. Now it is all up to them, but more specifically, up to Luna to stop The Eye and the White Sand from ruining everything.
