Song of a Maiden

Claudette Figueroa was a young woman from a small town with a passion for singing. Her ultimate dream was to perform on an opera stage, but she knew it was a goal that would take years of hard work and dedication. One afternoon, as she was bathing in the river, she noticed a man figure hiding in the water. She couldn't make out his face, but she sensed his presence and felt uneasy. She quickly dressed and went home, feeling both confused and frightened.

The following day, when she arrived at the mansion of the wealthy family she worked for, she found a golden lyre placed in front of her door. She was stunned, as she had never seen such a beautiful instrument before. She knew it must have been a gift from someone, but she couldn't imagine who would have left it for her. She picked up the lyre and examined it closely, marveling at its intricate design and flawless construction. It was a true work of art, and she couldn't believe it was now hers to keep.

Claudette was grateful for the unexpected gift, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She couldn't help but wonder if the strange man she had seen in the river was somehow connected to the lyre. She decided to keep the lyre with her at all times, in case she needed to defend herself.
