Generations after Darkstalker was sealed and the Icewings lost their animus power, a child born to a pair of runaways hatches. 
Tundra is an animus of royal descent, long separated from the Ice Kingdom. Despite this, in his small mountain community, he seen as a savior. 
But he doesn't want to be. He knows he doesn't have the skills, and would much rather spend his time simply enjoying life with his best friend. 
However, he doesn't get that choice.
All things possible seem to go wrong with him in his home, and he finds himself practically powerless to stop it. 
But he would do anything for those he cares about, even at the cost of his own soul.

(Peril knows about Turtle being an animus) In other words it's close to Canon but not quite. This is a wings of fire au that takes place in the future. The story focuses on the future of the icewings with our protagonist, Yeti. Yeti grew up in lower rankings for most of his childhood, but when he was brought to higher ranks, He had to say good bye to the home he once knew in the lower ranks. Now 11, one of the three main generals for Queen Khione, He finds himself depressed with his work. But when he rekindles an old friendship, he realizes the corruption of the hierarchy and the unfairness it causes to those who do not deserve it. But maybe change is in order. Note: I haven't finished the third arc of wings of fire, so this story may or may not be inaccurate. I may be slow to update the story, so please be patient. I am happy to take any constructive criticism!

WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. Also, I do not claim ownership of WoF, the amazing book series belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. I only claim ownership of my OCs and the Storyline, this is a fanfiction.

There are 6 dragons that we mainly follow; Orion, Nightwave, Stratus, Gobi, Moose, and Crab. Their stories entertwined but drastically different. And it certainly isn't their end. NOTE!
