Alvie Pucey's mother is an international Quidditch star, a legacy the eleven-year-old is expected to follow, no questions asked. But when Alvie arrives at Hogwarts, she finds her interests lie in other areas. Like stealing her journal back from Albus Potter. Or banishing her crush on Scorpius Malfoy. Or dealing with the power struggle between her fellow Slytherins. A mysterious trail of needles soon captures all her focus, though, especially when it leads her into the center of a nefarious plot.
(This is a next generation sequel to "The Mudblood," involving the kids of characters from that story along with some continuing plot lines. You can read this without reading "The Mudblood," but you'll be missing some context.)
