In the original storyline, the Guardian of the Miraculous Box, Wang Fu, searches for pure hearted people( or people with at least a smidge of humanity to help a poor old man, it seems) to wield the powerful miraculouses of the ladybug and black cat. He then is helped by Marinette and Adrien and are granted their miraculouses, but what if Wang Fu, instead of being helped by our original heroes, is helped by Alya and Nino. Adrien tries to convince Plagg that Marinette is "just a friend". Meanwhile, Marinette's kwami, Tikki, notices her miraculous holder has developed a soft spot for the feline superhero, Chat Noir.
