Song for the Dead

Alastair's father pleaded guilty to being executed of killing his own wife, his uncle Vamus smuggled him away from the palace to hide because his brother, the new King was plotting something evil against him. He was thrown into the town of Kalis to hide while clearing his family's name because of the scandal that had befallen them.

But the woman at the market, Clare, discovered that her new friend Alastair was a fugitive, with a huge reward placed on his head for his capture.
