In an era of never ending war between Samurai and Ninja, a peace agreement is scheduled to occur the following day between its leaders. The Samurai Shogun, Alex Axel has a rebellious teenage son named Steven Axel. On his way to train, he meets a kid with no memories of his past at a grassy field. The kid that looks about the same age as him decides to go with the name of Slash. These two begin their journey together as friends after the Ninjas reneg their scheduled peace deal and slaughter Stevens entire village after he returns home.
