Long ago, humans triumphed over dragons, imprisoning them into human mortals now known as dragonoids. These dragonoids endured centuries of enslavement at the hands of humans until they were liberated by the Dragonoid Rights Law. However, this newfound freedom spurred the dragonoids to rally their forces for decades, culminating in the overthrow of the human kingdom as revenge for their centuries of subjugation.

Within the fallen kingdom of Alterra, Lysander Faradeiss stands as one of the last surviving humans.
