I craned my head to looked up at the tall man, a tinge of irritation in my voice "I won't bend to your every whim, Ambrose."
Ambrose leaned in, his voice low and husky "Bending for me can be quite pleasurable, for the both of us, my little Luna." I could feel my ear heating up, a shudder running up my spine, and the earthy scent emitting from him made my knees weak.
Trying to maintain my composure, and push back the flush that threatened to take over my complexion, I quickly retorted.
"I'm not about to become some submissive idiot that does whatever you want them to, Ambrose. Don't get any ideas."
His gaze darkened as his eyes lingered on my lips, and I felt a sudden, intense urge to lick them, almost as if I was trying to erase the lingering taste of him. The action was involuntary, but it seemed to draw him closer, his eyes following the movement with a mix of hunger and satisfaction
"I think in time," he began, his voice a low, sultry murmur, "you'll realize just how sweet that submission can be, my luna."
He lowered himself slowly, his breath warm against my skin as he placed delicate, lingering kisses on my neck. Each touch of his lips sent shivers down my spine, a soft, electrifying trail that made me gasp. His kisses were tender yet intense, a contrast to the harshness of our argument. It was almost as if he was trying to erase the anger from our confrontation, replacing it with a new, confusing kind of intimacy.

Romy was raised by the village apothecary, and genuinely enjoyed her uneventful, simplistic village life, that is until she gets kidnapped by some werewolves.
To her astonishment, Romy learns that she is not only entangled in the world of these creatures, but is bound to none other than their possessive Alpha. One who wont let her go home now that he's found her.
Uncharted emotions, and a destiny she never fathomed, will she give in to the fate that was hand picked for her by the moon, or will she successfully resist the pull?
I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm.
"What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance.
Bad choice.
His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips.
"Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest.
All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?"
I had no answer, and turned on my side.
He sighed.
Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there.
