Tired, deprived of a childhood, and just slightly bruised, Madelyn Parks juggled work, school, being a mother to her 4-year-old sister, Emma, and the wrath of her alcoholic parents. She wasn't brought up with much, but she wanted her sister to have the most memorable childhood, something she never had.
