Anne Plantar was a pretty normal girl. She had two younger siblings, and she lived with her grandfather Hopediah. She went to private school with her two friends, Sasha, and Marcy. Overall she was pretty average.
But that all changed when she took a special field trip a special company by the name of Amphib-Inc and was bitten by a strange spider. Now she's got crazy powers, and super human nutcases trying to kill her.
Will Anne be able to manage her crazy new life, and keep it hidden from those she cares about most? Will she figure out the mysteries behind the strange spider that bit her? And why are her best friends acting so weird nowadays?

Marcy was so focused on her Nintendo that she almost walked straight into a busy street with cars flying by at high speed. Luckily, Rayne grabbed her by the back of her shirt just in time. When their eyes met boom instant connection. After realizing Rayne was a transferee, Marcy immediately asked her to join their little gang. Rayne's friendship with Anne was pretty normal besties within five minutes of meeting. But Sasha... was a bit different.
