Mono, a caring kind hearted boy. This boy would be the center piece of something bigger then anyone could have thought of. Mono has been destined to stay in a time loop for eternity. Mono every single time while stuck in his chair at the tower has droned about wanting to hurt six beyond ways he could think but even after he turned her into a monster he never fulfilled his empty hole inside of his soul. This time the loop was going to be different. Just as mono's final battle with the thin man came he realizes something terrible.

Wanting to escape this prison, finds a way to leave and destroy the cycle but nothing worked as the Flesh Monster kept on bringing him back. When he is about to lose hope that nothing is gonna change, something or someone offered him a hand to truly leave this torture indefinitely and take him to a world that will make him feel free from all of it. How can Mono handle being stuck in a Magician's world? In a school for magicians? In Twisted Wonderland.

He smiled warmly up at her, tears spilling over. "I'm sorry," he choked out, and he really was. The last thing he wanted was to leave Six all by herself. He knew loneliness all too well. But at least, this way, she would be able to live her life, far away from the cruelties that threatened them every minute as they had gotten closer to the Signal Tower. After the Signal Man had taken her, he devoted himself to getting her back no matter the cost. There was no price too big to pay. He would give up everything for her. Alternatively: If given the choice, Mono would totally sacrifice himself to save Six, if the circumstances were set up that way. Basically, the ending of Little Nightmares 2, but slightly different. The real ending broke me, and was nothing but angst, so here's angst with a happy ending. Beware of spoilers. Also, the mass of flesh and eyeballs is officially called the Squirming Abyss, so I will be referring to it as such.
