Life was always normal in Gracelyn's life. Normal life, normal family. Then her mom died and changed everything. Her dad was close to being bankrupt, and her brother had to put his life on hold to help keep the shop going. They insisted she lived her life though, and so she jumped at the opportunity to have a full scholarship to the University of North Carolina. Her and her best friend Rosie, are off to the school together. Whilst her boyfriend, Preston, will be attending the University of Florida.
Everything was starting to look better for Gracie, and then she met Ryder. The guy that completely changed her life, and made her feel what she's never felt before. But who will she choose?
After a couple years of being in college, and being with the guy she loves (can't say who), A war breaks out between The United States and South Korea. They are threatening a national draft and everyone is terrified. Gracie and Rosie are scared to lose the one's they love.
