Mara sat under the old tree where they would usually meet. Her palms were sweaty and for the first time in her life she felt nervous. She waited patiently, she was in no hurry to speed up this process and she hoped that the feeling was mutual. She waited some more until she heard the sound of faint footsteps coming her way and she knew it was time, she was going to break the heart of the heartless woman she was in love with. It made her nervous, but this war was bigger than any love between them.
