The Kingdom of Phaedora

When Ariel turns 18 she discovers that her necklace contains magic but what she doesn't know is that she isn't a faerie but a mermaid from an underwater kingdom called Oceania. Her adoptive parents King Selim and Queen Kiara from the Kingdom of Phaedora are run but faeires and pirates. On her 18th birthday, the kingdom throws Ariel an 18th birthday ball with the whole kingdom in the grand ballroom of the castle. While she was talking to her best friend Jupiter her necklace started to act weird and the light came out and she awakened her magic. Ariel goes on a quest to find out who she is and how she got to Phaedora and she will find out the truth about her past. Will Ariel want to stay in Phaedora with her current family or will she go back to Oceania and be with her birth parents find out in The Kingdom of Phaedora.
