My name is Jodi.  I come from a small town, where nobody cares.  I'm the one who gets called ugly, and gets cheated on for sluts.  My mother is mentally abusing me, and has been since my father left her.   She can't wait until I turn 18 and move out, and frankly, neither can I.
I'm Moving to Australia with my drunk mother, and my best friend can't come.  A new life in an unknown area is going to be bad for me, I don't want association with anyone, in fear that I will be turn into my mother.

There, he meets Karen, a rich white L.A yoga mum, who's also very happy and sweet lady who invites him to her more expensive events with her. One day, he meets her son: Michael. This guy couldn't be more different from his mum; he wears dark clothes, dark make-up, and he's rude. Another issue: Michael seems to hate Calum, and wants him to stay away from Karen, and Calum isn't sure why...
