Hi! My name is Elysia! I love to write poetry and I'm really good at it (as multiple told me) I even won 1st in a local event that happened before! Anyways in this book I will be writing things that are either 1. What I feel like 2. Something that just pops up in my mind 3. Petals of my moonflower
Red isn't always romance, sometimes it's blood, Moon isn't always for lovers, but sometimes for secret cries, Flowers aren't always for marriage, but sometimes for grave, Petals aren't always soft, sometimes they prick the soul. No plagiarism/No hatred plz. Also some things might contain mature contents like self harm. I want to say those kinds of suicidal poems are not to inspire anyone to self harm. The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. Swoosh - a book of breezy poetry
Some of the least poetic poems you'll ever read, written by, you guessed it, me! These are some thoughts and feelings that I tried to put into words. I started writing poetry regularly back in January, so the poems in this book kind of tell the story of my life in 2018, since that's when I wrote them (except for the first seven poems, which I wrote in the summer of 2017, plus a few others that I indicate are old).
