An Avian man saves a amnesiac, mutant girl and helps her train and find out about her past. Set in a society of winged people called Avians who live in a vast land of mountain and forest called The Aerie. Avians are ruled by five Elders of the five different classes of their society, Warrior, Scholar, Medic, Craftsmen, and Cook. They live in a hall carved into the highest mountain, and any big problem is brought to them for solving. The people live up to three hundred years old. For the first fifty years of their lives, they are raised by their parents and given basic training in all classes. At age fifty, they choose a class to train in for the next fifty years. At a hundred, they go into work as fully trained adults. The chosen weapons of the Avians are spears and bows, although you can find others sold in craftsmen's shops. This race of people seems to think that they are far superior to other races and are unkind to them. This is somewhat true, even their simplest products are of higher quality than that of others, and their way of life is quite stable, but this makes them ignorant and naive. She wasn't meant to love. She was meant to destroy. Azaira, the girl who whispered "we'll be fine" through broken teeth, becomes the goddess who commands oceans to burn. But when the Death Lord-her greatest enemy and oldest echo-claims her as his queen, the universe trembles between mercy and madness. He was born to end lives. She was born to awaken them. And between them stands a love that kills everything it touches. > "When Death begged the Life to stay." He calls her Queen of Death. She calls him the reason she bleeds. > "Because some feelings were never meant to be survived." A haunting tale of trauma, power, and the dangerous mercy of love. You Shouldn't Have Made Me Feel - where even Death kneels for the girl he ruined Dark, divine, and achingly human- this is the story of a girl who felt too much and paid the price with her soul. rankings - #34 - haunting #16 - cursed love #11 - deadlydesire #20 - traumabond #198 - toxiclove #892- strongfemalelead
