1000 years ago, a calamity befell the earth; the first space quake occurred. It is unknown how many died from it, but it is known to be at least 20% of the population. For the next 100 years, the world faced many more space quakes before they slowly stopped. For 900 years, humanity prospered; however, it wasn't meant to last. 20 years ago, the space quakes reappeared, and have only been increasing in number since.
Himari Aika, your average, everyday high school girl, has now become a spirit, but more than that, an incredibly powerful spirit. What sort of life will she live now? How will her powers affect those around her? Will she be able to live a normal life again?

TW: This story will discuss bullying, suicide, and other darker aspects. There will be warnings when it comes up in those chapters, but just want to give you a warning now.
I like a lot of the characters and systems in Date A Live, but the backstory of the world always felt lacking to me. I have made some changes, which will come up at their appropriate points in the story. This story changes some parts of the Date A Live canon history in quite drastic ways, but I hope you enjoy it.

Izuku midoriya, a boy who is now 15 years old. He used to have it all when he was younger. A happy family, friends, and an overall amazing life. But sadly, all good things come to an end. At the age of 6 his father found a new woman to love and abandoned his family. This caused Izuku's mother, Inko Midoriya, to run away with her son. She ends up abandoning Izuku in an orphanage to get rid of and extra mouth to feed, hoping he'd be safer there, but things never seem to work out for him, do they? He fell into a dark pit of depression and suicidal thoughts. Which led to harsh teasing and bullying from the other children at the orphanage. Of course the workers there never cared, why should they? To them he was just a burden, a waste. He couldn't take it anymore. The neglect, abuse and bullying got to him and he ended up running away to god knows where, hoping to find a home, somewhere to feel safe. But ended up homeless once again. He thought nothing would get better he decided he would give up trying to continue his miserable life, but a ray of sunshine, a ray of hope, stopped him and took him in. Someone who cared for him. His name was Katsuki Bakugo. This is the story of how Izuku fell in love with this boy, and found true bliss and joy.
