In the mystical realm of Ninjago, a rare and awe-inspiring phenomenon unfolded - a dazzling lightning aurora graced the skies above the city. Its appearance was an extraordinary sight, an occurrence seldom witnessed. Compelled to investigate, the ninja found themselves compelled to decipher the enigma surrounding this event. However, amidst their exploration, one particular individual displayed an unsettling behavior - Jay.
Jay seemed inexplicably drawn to this extraordinary phenomenon, exhibiting a disregard for the counsel of his comrades as he fixated upon the captivating display. His unwavering attraction to the spectacle resulted in the failure of their mission to aid the people of Ninjago City. Little did they know, Jay's fascination with the lightning aurora would lead to an unforeseen and life-altering consequence.
In a twist of fate, Jay found himself bestowed with inexplicable powers by an enigmatic doctor during his hospitalization. Since then, he has undergone a remarkable transformation, altering him in ways that defy comprehension. The Ninja team now faces a critical challenge - to free Jay from these newfound powers, restoring him to his former self. Failure to do so not only jeopardizes Jay's life but also threatens the very existence of their team.
Thus, a race against time ensues, a desperate struggle to extract the potent abilities that now course through Jay's veins. Their mission is to reclaim his essence, to ensure that he and his team do not succumb to the dire consequences that loom over them. The stakes are unimaginably high.

Jay and Nya are just in a park enjoying their picnic together as a lovely couple until they get attack by some bad guys that are all wearing black. They're attacking Nya and Jay and there fighting them back. One of them were gonna shoot Nya in her back and then Jay sees this so he runs and pushes Nya out of the way and Jay gets shot and dies.... The strangers left and Jay was dying in Nya's arms. He told her something then just like that Jay's electrical blue eyes were gone they turned grey, his smile for once in his life was a blank face. Nya cried and cried. She finally snapped out of it and carried Jay home and told the others. She thought that they could help him but they couldn't it was no use. Nya cried and cried in Kai's arms. Jay was gone forever.... Or that's what they think..... Two weeks later Nya is at the mall and sees Ronnin and he told her that Jay is alive. She didn't believe it until he gave her something that changed everything..... What do you think it's gonna be? Is Jay really alive? Will Nya get her Jay back? A seven-part story written for Ninjago Angst Week. ---------- Cole should have known that it would happen, should have known that nobody lives forever. Cancer was almost incurable, anyway. But it didn't make his mother's death hurt any less, nor did it stop him from blaming himself. --- All his life, Morro had been alone. When Wu found him that one day, he was happy. Content. Loved. It was a foreign feeling, and he naively thought it would stay there forever, only for Wu to lie to him. Now he was alone again, desperate to prove to destiny that he was worthy to be the green ninja. It was his biggest mistake. --- In hindsight, maybe getting stabbed in the stomach wasn't the best idea he'd ever had. But if it was to protect Lloyd, Kai would do anything for his baby brother, even if his own life would be at risk. --- Nya had always hated failing, always hated making mistakes. It made her feel weak, useless, and unworthy. It was a fear that could either be a strength or weakness. But she had never hated failing more than she did when she hit that lever the wrong way. --- When Kai disappeared, Jay knew that all hope was lost. When Zane was lost as well, Jay knew that the chances of defeating Nadakhan were close to none. When Jay stupidly got himself captured, he knew that he shouldn't make his last wish. One by one, as his teammates were separated from each other, it seemed as if victory was non-existent. But he wasn't going to quit. --- As a nindroid, it wasn't possible for Zane to get sick. And he was grateful for that, because it meant that he could take care of his siblings better without getting sick or injured himself. Still, he worried whenever one of them got sick or injured, especially since he wasn't sure if Jay was going to survive. --- Lloyd knew that it would happen, that he'd be alone someday. Again. (Takes place after Hands of Time and before Sons of Garmadon). Since Kai and Nya found out what happened to their parents, they feel whole. As for Cole, well, after all those incidents, for some reason, now he feels even MORE separated from the team and doesn't know why. Ever since Cole went through the rift of the Yin blade back in Day of the Departed, he thinks everything with him is back to normal. But just in, Ninjago City is in great danger and the ninja now have to face a new enemy. That enemy wants Cole himself. Cole discovers something disturbing that's the going on with his family. It causes issues with his father, master and his friends at the same time. And during the adventure with Kai and Nya (HoT), Cole discovered a new power inside of him. It was powerful. He liked it, it helped the ninja a lot. Cole was stronger than he ever was before. And now he's their biggest target ..... In this story, Cole must face the Queen of Ghouls, otherwise the Realm of Ninjago will fall into the hands of Evil... (May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no.
