Amelia Rhodes is a photojournalist. Her job is to study a certain topic, take photos of things based on that topic, and tell the story behind each photo. She is to also write a small article as well.  Amelia travels to the town of Barrow, Alaska; in the Northern Hemisphere. Amelia will be staying there for the whole month; to observe and document, the once every year month long darkness; that occurs once a year every winter.  Amelia meets Eben Oleson; the sheriff of Barrow. Eben escorts Amelia around town, so that she can gather her research. As Amelia begins her journey, Amelia and Eben begin to bond, becoming close. When a pack of bloodthirsty vampires attack Barrow; it becomes a fight for survival during the month long darkness.  Eben vows to protect Amelia. What will happen between Eben and Amelia?  Who will survive? 


In this story; Eben is not married.  This is based on the movie.  This is a horror/romance story
