Jay Scout didn't know what to think when she was finally old enough to understand her differences. Hearing conversations others could not, having random hallucinations and déjà vu, dreaming strange dreams, and sensing things around her were just the beginning. Not to mention the strange mark on her back. Eventually, she just accepts the fact that she is unlike others and learns to live with it. Then one day her mother springs a "surprise" on her. She signed her up to go to a "Ladies' Dinner" their neighbor is hosting. However, when she's there, she discovers the woman's grandson, Adam, is like her, different. They're part of a group of genetically enhanced humans known as the "Thrive". From here, they're launched into an exciting, high-speed chase across the continent, trying to find refuge from the enemy right on their tail, known only as "Ever Eyes". But along the way, they may find an unexpected surprise... Or more than one... That could mean the end to Earth and everything upon it.

"That's because we've been here ever since we were born." said Norman. Ray looked into the empty path that was behind those bars. Next to him was a girl that was smaller than the three of them, yet only slightly younger. She was clearly scared, but tried to hide it. She didn't want to be the one to be afraid. Emma said: "Mama always tells us, doesn't she? 'Don't go near the gate or fence in the back of the forest because it's dangerous.'" "That's obviously a lie." said Ray, making the girl next to him look up at him. "R-Really?" she asked, taking a step to hide behind him. She got no answer, which she already knew she wouldn't get. "Hey, Ray! What do you want to do if you go outside?" asked Emma. He answered: "I don't know. What about you?" Without a missing beat, Emma said: "I want to ride a giraffe!" "Good luck." During a life in prison, a girl name Kayla Rocksand was stuck in jail for something that she was blame for. During her time in prison, she overheard policemen saying that the world is coming to the end. She didn't know what that meant so she stayed in the back of the cell. She heard growls and shouts and gun shots. She looked out the cell and seen a policemen shooting at a guy. Only it wasn't a guy. It was the dead. He growled and lowered himself on me so that I couldn't get out. He then shifted as I looked the other way. "Look at me", he growled. I just stared to the side. Again I just stayed there. He then got off me and went behind a tree. He came out with shorts on. "I.said.shift", he growled angrily. I shifted and started to yell at him. "Your not my alpha. "Grab that plate and throw it on the floor." I told him, handing him a plate. "Why am I---" "Just do it!" I yelled, trying to hold back the tears. He looked at me and took the plate from my hand, making careful moves so he didn't touch the tips of my fingers. "Throw it on the ground." I told him. I watched as he threw it down on the ground, pieces of one of my moms plates going everywhere. "Okay. Now what?" He asked me, a hint of impatience in his voice. She's half vampire, and half human, making her a half breed. Insted of being weaker then full-breed vampires, she's pretty strong for her breed. Aj and Jeff live in the Creepypasta Mansion, where Slendermen adopts Aj, and takes her in as if she was already his daughter. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in.
