Akumi: Redemption

James Carmichael, a bounty hunter enduring a desolate existence in his native New Austin, experiences a sudden twist of fate when an enormous portal materializes in the sky above his camp. Clinging desperately to a tree, he watches helplessly as half of his camp, including his loyal pet dog Arno, is engulfed by the mysterious vortex. Ultimately losing his grip, James is drawn into the portal, thrusting him into the enigmatic realm known as the Hexrealms. Here, he encounters Akumi, a young and audacious fellow bounty hunter. Initially harboring mistrust, James finds himself open to amicable interactions with her. Unbeknownst to him, a dark aura surrounds James, evoking varied responses from the Hexrealms' inhabitants particularly drawing attention when in the presence of female demons or morally ambiguous individuals. Follow James and Akumi on a perilous adventure as he contemplates whether to remain in the Hexrealms or seek a return to his home in New Austin.
