After Furina's loss of her curse, Focalors death, she is finally able to live her own life without acting someone else's. She had barely Been able to adjust to her own life, and her mental health had spiral out of control, leading Fontaine's own Chief Justice, Neuvillette, to take care of the former "Archon"

Masquerade of the guilt
To try and distract herself from worrying about the prophecy, and the fact that she cant have a normal life because she is the archon, furina sits up a masquerade, and end up trying to sit up Neuvillette and Wriothesley in the process, with sigewinne some what help. In the middle of clothes shopping for the masquerade, Wriothesley and Sigewinne run into Neuvillette who went out shopping for Furina and ran into the two. Wriothesley, a criminal who was arrested at the age of 18 and released 5 years later, began his reputation as the Lord of the Fortress of Meropide, but in fact, throughout these years, he continued to commit crimes secretly. Neuvillette, Chief Justice of Fontaine, had recognized Wriothesley and realized his crimes, sentencing him to 10 years in prison. Wriothesley, disgusted by the situation, searches for a plan to regain his position as the Lord of the Fortress of Meropide. "A criminal knows how to ration the criteria around him, thus making my life easy to deceive others." Wriothesley said, expressing his thoughts while completing his plans with Clorinde's help. The Iudex's day off
Wriothesley takes it upon himself to investigate the sudden disappearances of melusines when Sigewinne doesn't return from her sudden day off. This leads him straight to the Chief Justice himself, only to find that Neuvillette too seems to have taken a few days off. Warning! This story, while just like my other stories, doesn't have smut, unlike my previous stories it is on the more mature side, here and there (mostly some jokes). Read at your own discretion. It has been weeks since the prophecy had been fulfilled, and Fontaine had been having constant rain. Wriothesley hasn't been outside the Fortress of Meropide since the prophecy, and has gotten barely any communication. When he decides to go out one day, it's raining. And he is greeted by a teary eyed Iudex Neuvillette. They have tea together, and everything seems to goes back to normal. But Wriothesley undergoes bad injuries and is taken in by Neuvillette, discovering something that isn't so simple. While he heals by Neuvillette, they start to grow close.
