In the year 2127, Earth has become a vast, unrecognizable wilderness, blanketed by an endless canopy of towering trees, not letting even the tiniest ray of light through the surface. The oceans are obscured beneath a thick foliage, and life outside the shadowed embrace of the forest is engulfed in a empty void. 

The once-dominant human civilization has crumbled, leaving only scattered settlements as a refuge from the relentless onslaught of evolved flora and fauna. Plants, now predators, absorb nutrients from other living beings, while animals have adapted to survive the harsh ecosystem, becoming akin to monsters.

Amidst the ruins of a fallen world, humanity faces the choice of embracing the darkness of the forest or risking annihilation at the hands of the creatures that dwell within.  But, something else dwells in the darkness, the new apex predator of the forest.
