We moved to the year when everything seemed to be okay. Arabella learned to open up more, laugh more, live more, and most of all, love more. After almost losing her life, she decided to live it instead. Everything was fine until they forced a class nobody wanted, a class that forced most to remember events that caused them fear. With all the thoughts and nightmares coming back to her, Arabella thought it best to pull away... again. Caldor on the other hand, didn't seem to like that idea at all, especially now that he's personally training her and learning a lot about her new side.
Even after a sickening year, Caldor stuck around the Institute. That year, he mostly kept an eye on the one female trainee. He was so keen on her every action that he never got to realize existed. Not until, he stumbled upon pages, papers, and scrolls that seemed to be out of place in the library, not before he stumbled into a Dragon's cave only to be marked, not before an attack from the summoners that almost had their lives and not before sticking his nose into business he wasn't supposed to and in all, involving Arabella in the process making her a target of a long time nemesis. We all remember the last person interested in Arabella...

There is not just one princess in trouble in this Novella, but two. Both are in need of protection and only one can do the protecting. When Vondra meets the recently widowed Prince Sharzor, she finds herself disliking him and when they are together, she despises him all the more. For some reason, he seems to hate her and does his best to keep putting her in her 'place', believing she is either a servant or a crafty female criminal. But deeper emotions are at play in both of them and soon they will surface... This is to be a 'Novella', written for Wattpad's 2021 Open Novella Contest and is about the seventeen-year-old princess, Vondra, who appears like an upper-class servant, certainly not a royally titled young woman. She is on the run and has no idea where she is or where she is going. She whispers, "I'm in heap of trouble and there is no way on this earth that I will go back. I don't fully believe in God, but as a last resort before I find a high cliff to throw myself off, I will pray and ask for help to become the woman my grandfather taught me to be."- He had told her, 'You're a weapon and weapons don't weep.' At the same time she wished to fulfill her Grandmother's prayers that she would 'be a woman of great wisdom, care, love, faith, hope and peace. I have placed this novella in the category 'Romance' as there was no category for 'Action-Romance' - the main romance doesn't happen right way because of the prince's loss and princess being in such trouble, she can only think of herself, of escaping and finding a normal life away from the restrictions of royalty. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha.
