Authors in another world?!

While in a group chat with his fellow authors, Lucas realized he had heart palpitations and thought he just needed some water but collapsed on his way to get some. He had a heart attack from drinking too much energy drinks. He "died" alone in his apartment and wasn't found until two days later.

He woke up as a cannon fodder who had to somehow save the villain.

"Why?"

The little tennis ball flew around him and hit his head softly. It was his system who likes to change into inanimate objects.

He got was in his book, Tales of Death, a story where everyone had a happy ending except the villain.

However he wasn't the only one who got reborn, all of his other author friends got into different kinds of "accidents" and got reborn into their books as well.
