Aaron Nightshade is a young wealthy boy in a world where people frown upon hereditary titles. While his brother, Nathaniel Nightshade is the heir apparent to their rundown estate, he stands to inherit an empty title. However, when Aaron witnesses a terrible act of violence that could possibly tarnish his family's reputation, he decides to investigate the matter silently.
When Annabelle arrives at Panthurst Manor, she is in a daze of rage to find the truth, but she wasn't going to be quiet. With a twist of turn, Aaron and Annabeth's plans align and they are thrust into a thicket of mysteries, murders, cults, betryals, and most importantly love. While Aaron's family's arrival complicates the situation even further, it also provides the pair to learn exactly what happened that night.
