A few months ago, I received a box on my doorstep. It was charred in multiple places, and it had many puncture holes. The box had no return address-nor did it have mine. As I opened it, a note came out, with only three words: "Tell the story". Underneath the note, there was some sort of voice recording device that I have never seen before. This is what the recording enclosed.

Grace Carstairs was just a normal shadowhunter- well as normal as a shadowhunter can be. The only different thing about her is the fact that her mom left her dad when she was very little. Grace's little bubble of a Utopia blew up in her face after she took her test to see which district she would fit best in.
Riley Fairchild's life has never been easy, being the parabatai and all to no other than Grace Carstairs. It especially hasn't been easy due to the fact that Grace's dad told him a huge secret that which we can never tell Grace until the time is right- whatever that means.
Dayton has always been different. Despite being very much human, he was thrust into the shadowhunter world.
When these three team up on a quest to find Raziel, secrets that are better kept hidden are revealed, loyalties turn, and they learn what is best.

Each year, on the night of the first new moon, he returns to the houses he has marked, drags anybody inside-guilty or not-out into the forest, never to be seen again. MC initially refused to believe in paranormal phenomena, but as time went on, inexplicable catastrophes began to occur. The faceless individual attacked Jessy, threatened Cleo's mother in a letter, and painted a red raven symbol on Richy's garage. Jake and MC continue their investigation into Hannah's disappearance because it appears that no harm has been done until Richy was attacked by the man without a face in the woods and was bleeding. What will MC do after that?
