This is a short story for participation in the "Reigning Desires" contest, a collaboration between the official Wattpad account @WattpadHistoricalRomance and @WattpadAfterDark. This contest is combined with the nuances of kingdoms in various eras that trigger the author to develop story writing. The prompt used was "An arranged marriage between two well-known families wasn't uncommon. But their kids had a history, and as they say- where there was fire, there's always a chance of rekindling."
