James' smile fell very quickly when he realised that the loud sound pounding in his ears wasn't the fire alarm. Something was wrong. Very wrong. Students were running everywhere and in every direction, James could see the teachers panicking around him and knew that it wasn't a test. Something very bad was happening. James got pushed against the windows by frightened students who weren't paying attention to their surroundings and that's when James knew he was fucked, screwed, dead or whatever else synonym meant that James was going to die. Against the window, he had a perfect view of what was happening outside and he knew that the entire world as he'd been used to was gone. And James wasn't going to survive it. Or, James and the marauders are high schoolers and the world suddenly changes for the worse. Or, or, It's a zombie apocalypse and it gets fucked-up. (It's a zombie apocalypse, people will die. kinda) [cover in progress]
