Long after the Calamity War, the Gods of old have fallen and have been forgotten, mocked in the new world. Their history is taught as a story for entertainment. Those who know reality know it is time, soon the pillars of power will crumble and the world will be left to support herself once more. The cycle of failure has been repeated. Any longer and the new pillars may never have the chance to claim power again. When Ran meets his obligated friend for the first time, something awakens within him. He begins to transform, is even told he is meant to be the replacement for Hell's Fire, one of the fictional seven pillars! His world is ruined as he is introduced to a world he never believed in. It's a power struggle to see who can control the new gods--if they can control the new gods.
