Flair Hart, the female tribute from District One, is chosen to participate in the 52nd Annual Hunger Games, a great honor. Of course, there was one heart-dropping moment in the Reaping, when her best friend Haven, a medic-in-training was drawn. But of course there were so many volunteers it was absolutely impossible for your name to be drawn and still be able to participate in the Games. And thank goodness too. Now at the Capitol, she joins the Career pack, annoyed by their antics but knowing they were her inevitable allies. Meeting a girl named Echo from District 10 at the fire-building station of training causes everything to change. Now she feels that she must protect the girl at any cost...after all, Peeta and Katniss weren't the first star-crossed lovers.

Follow as the story takes you into how everything they had became just a memory and their attempt to rebuild the relationship [.......] always wanted. Authors Note: I tried to make this story as book accurate as possible, but of course with their being a new leading character added, the story will not follow it directly. I did this on purpose. There are also head canons in this because of another character. Most important, this is a lesbian based fan fiction. I am not claiming Katniss's sexuality whatsoever, in fact, in the story, it is obvious that the insert character's love is completely one sided. This story can take on some adult themes and language, like the original trilogy does, so please be aware of that.
