Astarion x Resist Durge fanfic featuring an alternate universe where the events of BG3 never happen. 

This story features plenty of blood, snark, the coldest layer of the hells, and smut. It has many of the characters crossing paths in different ways, some more meaningful than others. But primarily, it is a romance between Astarion and the Dark Urge. The tale begins with the two of them embracing their darkest nature, but their developing relationship will ultimately change their thinking and lead them to resist. It's plot  driven but does have explicit content. The POV switches between Astarion, Durge, and occasional minor characters. It is written in the third person. After defeating the Cult of Bhaal, a copycat is continuing the murders. Before the party can deal with Gortash, they must stop the killer. Solana is a high elf magistrate in the Upper City and is next on the list to die. Bhaal, the killings, and the party play a larger role in her life than she could have realized. The seeds of death have been sown. I also take a few creative liberties for the story. Nothing crazy, just things to help deepen the story. I don't own any characters, names, places, or ideas of the Baldur's Gate 3 game or Dungeons and Dragons. Facing all of it with the added weight of a vampire spawn who will not leave her alone and the fact that she has no idea what she is doing to earn both Astarion's and Halsin's affection, now the wizard is being forced to step out of her bubble of rules and reconsider the very foundations she lives by.

Astarion ascended just like he wanted. Tav helped just like he asked. People change just like they were warned. Fair warning: Ascended Astarion is the villain, Tav frequently disassociates and justifies Astarion's behavior to themselves and the other companions. Domestic violence is implied but not depicted out-right. Verbal abuse is kept to a minimum. Two major characters will die eventually. An alternative epilogue at Withers' party. Still in progress but I feel inspired and it's a short one. I will probably update frequently I haven't written fanfiction in 11 years. Sirena has no memory of her past as she awakens on the nautiloid. She doesn't just feel the tadpole behind her eye, working its way into her brain. She also feels something deeper...darker. The worm is being overshadowed by the constant desire- no NEED to kill...kill...KILL. Her only mission is to get revenge on those who have left her with only a name and this need to destroy. Everything else, her experiences, battles, and relationships will slowly reveal her past; whether it is useful or disturbing is another problem. However, her past is known to a select few. She will go on to find out she does indeed have a reason for the twitch she feels when a knife is in her hand. A reason why her body sings along with every strike of a blade against anything that moves. She is the daughter of Bhaal himself, the lord of murder. He sired not only her sweet name but the incessant desire for murder. She was trained in the arts of delightful music aswell as blades. Why? Because Bhaal's chosen must be so despicable that they can use honeyed words to convince their prey to commit their own murder, command a room of people to drop with the most angelic of Melodies. Her power resides in words because it was his desire, but her skills were moulded into something far more deadly. How she became lost with this urge is the main question pounding against her skull, but whoever did this didn't think of one thing. Sirena may have forgotten...but she will never forgive. Will she decide to resist this urge and get her revenge? Especially when it comes to those she will grow to love? Well...let's hope the dice roll in her favour. (This is a series I've created in honour of my durge run that I just had to write about. All inspired by conversations, events or areas through the course of the game. This is meant for mature audiences, due to the amount of violence, language, character backgrounds, etc. There are sexual scenes but don't expect many as I'm VERY new to writing. If you are looking for evil, dominant and possessive but still charming and "you are my possession, my first special spawn" caring vampire lord Astarion and...let's say eager female protagonist, this could be for you. This was supposed to be quick fun nonsense with a hint of kink, but the kink overpowered the nonsense way too fast. So depending on what you enjoy: i'm sorry or you're welcome ;) By now it's back to a mix of kink and fun. For anyone wondering: Avian Antics is my personal favorite so far.
