After Bell shared highly useful information, leading to the climactic bombastic foiling of Perseus' schemes, Adler is left to tie up one last loose end...

...but what if that loose end, for one reason or another, was deemed deserving enough to remain?

Writer's Notes:

I started writing this on the 15th November 2023 though I've been wanting to throw something together for a while revolving around this particular ending, I hope you enjoy my fun little personal "What If" expansion to the ending, it isn't long, just over 4200 words, (which includes a slight recap as well as the mentioned ending's contents.) but I hope however short this might be of an expansion, you find some enjoyment out of if!

Of-course since this is heavily based on the final minutes of the game there won't just be huge spoilers but too a strong dependence on game and character knowledge, thus, if you aren't familiar, you may feel like you're missing gaps in information, that said, if for whatever reason you still choose to take a look at this, I hope it provides some curious entertainment to you! ^^
