This story follows a young teenager through the ridiculous journey they all call life. As Sam grows up, he lives almost anywhere you can imagine. He has lived in the smallest towns and he has lived in the largest cities. The story picks up when Sam has just turned 13 and he and his father move to the middle of nowhere in Nebraska. The town is tiny. Just as Sam likes it, until the strangest thing happens to him. When he walks home from school, he can't find his dad.
