Midnight Meets

A dress ruined by a nemesis, a desperate attempt at invisibility, combine that with a laundromat down a somewhat sketchy alley and you've got yourself a meet cute right? Not exactly because it's not the way either of them saw the night going.

Felicity Loughlin, perfectionist and as normal as normal goes, finds herself in more than just a puddle of margarita, and Trace, popstar, has been roped into yet another stage dive of uncharted waters. Despite their separate plans for the night though both end up at Moonshine's Laundromat at exactly midnight.

If you ask Felicity it's fate, but according to Trace there's no such thing...all right maybe a dash of destiny, but that's it. This dash of destiny sends them on a trip across New York City. Thrift stores. Running from flashing lights. Strawberry and banana milkshakes. It's not the night either of them had planned, but it turns out to be the one thing both of them need; a timeout from real life.

Those brief 24 hours end up becoming a drug to them and they keep on coming back for more. Every year. The same day. Midnight exactly. That's the deal. But how long can it really continue? Felicity has started her senior year in high school, and Trace is about to set off on a world tour. Their entire relationship is built on shifting ground. Can that really compete with the concrete certainty of their normal lives?

That's what this year's midnight meet is about to determine.
