This is a tale of a man known as the Traveller. In the pursuit of his own meaning and his thirsty will to craft his worth, he found himself facing the darkness of the world. In a deadly fight for survival, he shall tell his story. And as if each road should have, this is a tale of sorrow, a tale of wandering, a tale of one soul's search for the escape of his own fate, and how that search, and the fearless will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.
What should I expect from the story? It's a slow-to-medium burn. Character-focused story mixed with worldbuilding. Some details are revealed from the dialogues, whereas others are from the background composition. Take this like an orchestra, the main instruments are the characters, but in the background, burning slowly are the worldbuilding, the power, the society, and so on.

What's unique about it? The power construction and cultivation, it's based on the psychological point of view, such as personality, traits, and flaws. There is duality so nothing is static and recorded in stone. Someone weaker could defeat someone stronger if he uses the flaws and traits of his opponent, and of course if he plays more smartly.

What are your inspirations? Games, animes, books, and movies. I can name some: Fullmetal Alchemist; Hunter x Hunter; One Piece; The Name of the Wind; Lord of the Rings; Mistborn; Final Fantasy; Rogue Galaxy.

What are the tones of the story? It has its dark side, the struggle of society, madness, and so on; however, I enjoy a lot of the feeling of "adventure" and "it must be funny", so you should expect some fun parts.

Long ago, when the world was young and humanity struggled against the forces of chaos, the gods intervened. They forged a sword, not as a weapon of destruction, but as a gift of hope. Each god poured a fragment of their essence into it-courage, wisdom, resilience, and strength. It's a sword meant for everything possible. For centuries, the blade lay hidden, waiting for the right moment to be discovered. It wasn't buried in gold or locked away in a grand vault-it rested quietly in the heart of the earth, untouched and unseen, until the time was right. When the first hand grasped the hilt, the sword came alive. Its surface shimmered with an otherworldly glow, a promise of the power within. The one who found it didn't know the gods had shaped it, nor did they understand the weight of what they held. But the sword recognized them. It responded to their strength, their resolve, and their needs. As the blade cut through the darkness for the first time, it wasn't just its edge that brought change. It was the force behind it-the will to fight for survival, for something greater than fear. With every swing, the sword grew brighter, stronger, as if it fed not on blood but on purpose. Though the gods forged the blade, it wasn't theirs anymore. In that moment, it became part of humanity, a bond between the divine and mortal worlds. And for the one who wielded it, the sword was more than steel and magic-it was a companion, a guide, and a silent promise: you are not alone. Thus began the sword's journey, not just as a tool of battle, but as a symbol of what humanity could become. And though its path was just beginning, the gods knew it would go on, far beyond what even they could imagine. (this is my very first novel. I got my inspiration from a nail clipper)

Short Story 1 Jack Kilver was the greatest adventurer in human history. Once he heard of a place that was so harsh that not even the terrible monsters outside the city dared not to go into it he knew he must be the first. He would accomplish the impossible Unfortunately, things never go as planned. Short Story 2 Things has been changing in the city ever since the new of Jack Kilver. Especially Emily's work, the company built by the woman who has moved humanity further in the future. She feels more devoted and passionate about her work. She just can't figure out why... Short Story 3 In a place where the trees block out all sunlight, there is a lonely building. Within this building, you'd find all manner of monsters and beasts. Sometimes, even monsters want to go where every one knows their name. Short Story 4 Lily lived a happy but simple life in her village, despite the war against the magical beasts of world still raging. When the war finally reaches the village, she expected her life to end with her family. She never expected a man to appear and offer her a deal. Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system. Any feedback is welcomed. Of course, let me know if you want more stories.
