A broken man, a destroyed family, a hero. Humanity fled Earth and landed on a planet they deemed Remnant where humanity would rebuild, continue their lives. Now many years later war has broken loose between ATLAS and Vale. Jaune Arc is tasked with stopping this war. Will he succeed?

RWBY: Jaune Arc's Ascension
Jaune Arc, the lovable goofball and sole male of the Arc clan has left his home on his quest to become a hero like his ancestors, but being a civilian and not having the training necessary, he has to rely on cheating his way into Beacon by the use of fake transcripts. And now that he has begun his journey, he hopes that he can improve and make his ancestors proud, while also surrounding himself with people he can trust and perhaps, a deeper connection and relationship. This is his journey to become a Legend and legacy of his ancestors. A/N: Now, I have given this much thought and I have read many Jaune fics, harem mostly and they weren't exactly original, as they forgo his canon personality and just give him powers from another franchise instead of making him increase his own skill. And so I decided to write this book and it will also include harem as well. I will try to keep their personalities as close to canon as I can. All Hail Monty Oum.

Team CRDL or to be exact Cardin Winchester is the 1 that leaks it. His life changed and he got bullied and kicked out from his family, and many that he thought were his friends abandoned him. In his eyes everything has been destroyed, his dream, his life, and his purpose in life. A suicide comes to his mind, and he almost does that, if he doesn't get rescued by something he never thought existed. This entity gives him a new purpose and life. For that, he will serve it for eternity, as he promised to become its Champion. It's greatest and proudest champion ever to live.

Remnant is overrun by the Creatures of Grimm. For a very long time, they have been the common enemy of humanity. Wherever they go, destruction ensures. Jaune Arc is but a boy who dreamt to end them and be a hero like in the stories. When an otherworldly star falls, his dream is fated to be achieved, just no longer as a human. It was this the unknowns invaded Remnant.

Jaune Arc was never the strongest, but he had the will and determination to pursue his goal no matter what he faced. Though that all changed when after saving the bully who made his life miserable, he decided to reveal that Jaune faked his way into beacon and soon he lost everything. His friends abandoned him, his family disowned him, and everybody tried their best to turn his life into a living hell. He was soon left beaten and broken in the middle of a forest in mistral to be killed by the grimm, but that never happened. A mysterious person happened to stumble upon him and saw the potential that he carried and thus changed Jaune's destiny, for the better or for the worst. Title inspired by Mitmite2 Most of the Jaune Arc fanfictions I read just aren't good enough. They either make him impossibly op or he's unjustly betrayed. And too many of them give him a harem. It's getting pretty old so I decided to change that. As a child, Jaune Arc decided that he would become a huntsmen just like his hero of a great-great-grandfather. But his father can't train him after an accident and the rest of his family doesn't know how. So he tries to teach himself. Of course he's failing miserably. With his dream seemingly impossible to achieve, he decides to continue trying to train himself, but then a willing stranger comes along. What next for our wannabe hero. Only time will tell.
