in the medieval eighteenth century, somewhere in the wealthy lands of thessalia and the korean peninsula, two enormous kingdoms were united by the holy bond of marriage, but only for the sake of prosperity for their individual empires.

hera jaewon kim, the youngest princess of helianthus kingdom, who would soon become the owner of the throne of the mugunghwa kingdom along with the young prince park sunghoon. both of their kingdom's people were delighted to hear the marvellous announcement, but alas the two royal bloods have a vicious bond of holding each other's thorat by a knife, and this was unknown to anyone outside the mighty walls of the magnificent castle.

hera and sunghoon have known each other since they were six, since both of their mothers being close friends it only made sense for them to meet each other. everyone expected the two to be good friends when they meet but the moment hera laid her eyes on sunghoon, she felt nothing but loath towards the young boy. she left like something was off and eerie about him, and made a mental note to just keep her distance from him. this made everyone in their family astonished from hera's unlike behaviour but they just left it to the two of them. ever since, the two of the. didn't tried to get along and it would mostly be sunghoon annoying hera since he loved to do that the most, this is what their relationship was, nothing too deep, nothing too serious, and non of them were too attached. that was the best thing.
