Aye loves Akk. If you were to ask anyone who knows them, they would say that Aye is completely in love with Akk. It's an universal truth, everyone knows. And for a while, Akk loved him too. In his own imperfect way, with his own insecurities, but Akk did. Ayan always thought that would be enough. (...) Mew's presence seems like an umbrella in the middle of a storm, his hand the path to walk away from the dark cloud once again. Looking into his eyes, he can feel the sun trying to shine through the darkness again. Maybe he actually is an angel, sent just to keep him afloat for a little while longer, perhaps until he can find his own footing again. - what if Ray is actually Ayan? And Mew saved his life when he was thinking about jumping off of the cliff? - 🖤V☆

Two years after Akk and Aye's breakup, things have started to settle. Aye is happy with his new boyfriend, Yok, and while their friendship is slowly mending, Akk can't quite let go. It breaks his heart to see the love of his life moving on, but if anyone deserves it, his shortstop does. One evening out with friends, Akk watches Aye and Yok dancing intimately, his lingering pain clear in his eyes. That's when a pretty boy saunters up and whispers, "I know the feeling. Wanna get out of here?" Before he knows it, Akk replies, "Yeah, why not?" as a grinning Ray drags him away victoriously, saying simply, "Good choice." [This is the second installment of my story, THE ART OF ATTRACTION. You don't need to have read the first story, but it adds an extra layer to this journey of love, loss, and new beginnings if you do so.]
