By day, Nicole is a nervous wreck, struggling to overcome her recent failures and avoid anybody who might ask too many questions. By night, she's practically a superhero, traversing the colorful, fragmented world of dreams in search of nightmares to bring back to Mama Kashi, a giant spider who feasts on negative psychic energy.

Life is about as normal as it can be, until Nicole discovers there are others wandering the dreamscape. Armed with a questionable agenda and strange powers that have terrifying--not to mention deadly--effects in the real world, they're determined to recruit her for their cause, even if it's by force.

Almost 100 years ago when the fae discovered they could no longer bare children a treaty was made between Fae and Human, the treaty would become to be known as The Offering.
