It's a Tere Bin fan fic that follows the original story and is set after 2 years. The story unfolds a series of events following post-leap, but things are slightly different. Meerab is still not found and Murtasim holds on to the last ray of hope that she would return to his world.

He is heartbroken. She is also shattered. Both of them are madly in love but sometimes life is cruel and we don't always get what we want.

Meerab gathers pieces of her crushed soul and sets on a journey to rediscover herself.

❥ A Glimpse of the Story ✧*。 "𝑱𝒐 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒎𝒖𝒋𝒉𝒆 𝒚𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒐 𝒓𝒂𝒉𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒊-𝒚𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏?" he said, his voice a mix of hurt and rage, as he pressed the gun to his chest. "𝑼𝒔𝒌𝒂 𝒌𝒚𝒂?" I raised both hands to calm him down, my eyes fixed on the black gun. My legs were shaking with fear. But deep down, my subconscious told me he wouldn't hurt me. Still, a part of me feared he might harm himself. "𝑴𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒎, 𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚. 𝑰 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏... 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕..." I whispered, my voice breaking as he grabbed my chin. "'𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚?' Murtasim Khan is a 27-year-old feudal lord and a successful businessman. With dark hair, brown eyes, and a commanding Aura, Murtasim holds a charismatic presence. He upholds his family's legacy and reputation while also managing his thriving business ventures. Living in a lavish mansion in Hyderabad, he cherishes the close bond he shares with his mother, Salma Shahnawaz Khan, and his younger sister, Mariam Shahnawaz Khan. Since the death of his father, Shahnawaz Khan, when Murtasim was just 17, he has carried the weight of family expectations, which has scarred his outlook on relationships. On the other hand, Meerab Khan, 21, is an intelligent young woman with honey-brown eyes and a fair complexion. She carries herself with grace. Meerab lives in Lahore with her strict father, Anwar Khan, a wealthy businessman, and her mother, Nadia Khan. She completed her education with high hopes and ambitions but is constrained by the expectations placed on her as a daughter in a traditional family. Murtasim is driven by a desire for power, success, and maintaining his family's legacy. He pours his heart and soul into his business, believing that success can fill the void left by his father's death and the betrayal of his first love, Ayesha Ali. Conversely, Meerab is motivated by duty and familial loyalty. The last wish of her late paternal uncle, Shahnawaz Khan, was for Murtasim and Meerab to marry, which puts immense pressure on her. Without many options for a future that fulfills her dreams, she finds herself walking a precarious line-wanting to honor her family's wishes while yearning for a sense of independence and love.

How differently could things have turned out after Waqas Ahmed had stormed into Khan Haveli and shown each and every member of the Khan's the mirror whilst clearing the smears of shame on Meerab's character? How differently could things have been for Meerab and Murtasim had their longing for one another after their cruel separation at Malik Zubair's and Haya's hands turned into something more fruitful? How differently could things have been if the writer of Tere Bin had been as extra, filmy and dramatic as yours truly? This four-shot begins from when Murtasim leaves Meerab in Karachi. Its what I believe was a heartbreakingly crucial point in the story. *Some mature content* Cover by my talented moonshine1_
