When a group of young kids are able to live through a deadly lunar event when the rest of the world can't, they end up being forced to survive in an apocalyptic world with no help or guidance from anyone except each other and their common sense. 

Their unbelievably different personalities and mindsets puts them in grave danger, since they can never all consecutively agree on a decision. Can they survive, or will these differences end up getting all of them killed?

When the moment finally comes, teachers and students all split, leaving the schools a ghost town, and everyone for themselves or the dead. But will their chance increase? Or will their survival be a waste? Who will live? And who will die? Was it all just a waste of time?
