Humans have a way of finding home in odd places. This is especially true for the six students of Adam High School, who lost their parents within weeks of each other. We follow the journey of these friends-for a lack of better words-as they navigate the big moments of adulthoods with their chosen family, and do what family does...fight, yell, scream, but eventually forgot it all to come together. We see the friend group change and grow through the eyes of protagonist Robin, creator and leader of the Orphan Club, who is grieving a new lose. Read as she finds her place in the club now, and maybe even find happiness and love in the same place that help her through the loss of her parents.

Noah and Emma grew up as inseparable neighbors, their childhood bound by secrets, laughter, and the presence of Lily - Noah's beloved sister and Emma's closest friend. But at thirteen, a tragic car accident shatters everything. Lily is gone, and Noah's grief twists into blame, leaving Emma alone with her guilt. Three years later, their paths cross again at a party, where old wounds stir and long-buried feelings resurface. As they circle back into each other's lives - through awkward reunions, hesitant trust, and painful truths - Emma becomes part of Noah's world once more. When the case of Lily's death is reopened, Noah learns the truth that changes everything: Emma wasn't the reason he lost his sister. From shared silence to fragile friendship, and finally to love, Noah and Emma must learn how to forgive, how to heal, and how to rebuild the bond that once defined them.
